Tiziano Squartini

I was born in 1983 in Siena, where I graduated in 2008 with a Master's Degree in Physics and defended my PhD thesis ("Information-theoretic approach to the analysis of complex networks") in 2011. During the biennium 2012-2013 I was Postdoctoral Researcher at the Lorentz-Institute for Theoretical Physics (Leiden, NL) under the supervision of Diego Garlaschelli. From January 2014 I am Postodoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Complex Systems UOS Sapienza in Rome. The results of my research were published on several journals, including high-quality peer-reviewed ones (New J. Phys., Phys. Rev. E, J. Econ. Interact. Coord.). I have participated to international conferences both as invited and contributed speaker and collaborated with professors working in Economics and Finance (as Dr. Iman van Lelyveld, working at the Supervisory Policy Division of the Dutch National Bank and Prof. Giorgio Fagiolo, professor of Economics at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies).
